Shepherd of the Valley, Arnold’s Mills Cornerstone of Faith, Wesley United Methodist Churches, along with other ecumenical friends, are pleased to welcome Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi, resident Bishop of the Eastern PA and Greater New Jersey Episcopal Area of the UMC,  as our Holy Thursday preacher and presider for worship at Shepherd of the Valley in Hope, RI on Thursday, April 17th at 7:00 pm.

On Thursday, March 6th at 3:00 pm in the Statehouse Library, the Freedom to Read Coalition will be holding a press conference. The Rhode Island State Council of Churches is a central member of the coalition and we are committed to supporting the “Freedom to Read Bill” that protects libraries, librarians, and teachers from harassment.
