Faithful Resistance: A Public Witness for Immigrant Justice

On Wednesday, February 26th, United Methodists and faith partners from across the country will gather in the nation’s capital for Faithful Resistance: A Public Witness for Immigrant Justice.

This will be a gathering of Ecumenical and Interfaith leaders offering public witness for justice grounded in worship, moral courage, and solidarity with our neighbors.

Hearts for Social Justice, Shepherd of the Valley UMC, and Arnold Mills UMC will be hosting a livestream watch service of the one hour worship service (10-11AM) at Shepherd of the Valley in Hope, RI.

All are invited!

Please arrive for the 10:00 AM start on Wednesday, February 25th.

An offering will be taken for Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island to support their mission and ministry with our immigrant siblings.

After the worship service we will enjoy refreshments and discuss ways to implement ACTION in our communities. This event will take place at Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM in the Hope Room.
