Join with your neighbors and other people of faith as we work together to support our immigrant communities.
If you have attended previous legal trainings, you might want to refresh your knowledge and learn new ways to support the immigrant community through legislation.
Please share this widely with members of your congregation, friends, family, neighbors, and others.
Our work together is grounded in our two core values: everyone is a beloved child of God and a commitment to non-violence.
The training is specifically designed for people:
who have not yet taken the “know your rights” training for accompaniment; documentation; and other immigrant support opportunities
who have taken the training but would like a refresher
in faith communities and other settings who would like to know how to “secure their space” and their programs from ICE
who would like to learn some of the basics of immigration policy and practice in the USA
who would like to know how to connect this training to work to secure elections and prevent voter intimidation in the Fall elections in RI
