This Friday evening (September 25th), the Diocese of Providence will commemorate the 2026 World Day of Migrants and Refugees with a Vigil at 6:30 pm at St. Patrick Church (244 Smith St., Providence) outdoors in the Church parking lot.

This candlelight vigil and prayer service, led by Bishop Bruce Lewandowski, C.Ss.R. and Fr. Joseph Brice, will be rooted in prayer and will highlight the plight faced by our Migrant and Refugee brothers and sisters.

There will be limited parking available in the parish parking lot with additional street parking located in the surrounding neighborhood.

 Please note that in case of inclement weather this vigil will take place indoors in the St. Patrick School Gym (at the same location).
