To prepare faith-based activists for the legislative session, RI Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty holds an annual Poverty Conference as a critical thinktank time to inform, inspire, and prioritize for the work ahead.

This year’s Root Out Poverty Conference and Fundraiser will include an honest conversation about leading causes to the economic instability so many Rhode Islanders face. By getting at the real roots of poverty, we can together strategize a fruitful harvest.

The half-day, morning event will include a report on the current state of poverty in Rhode Island, a keynote speech, breakout sessions, lunch, and a solutions/next steps brainstorming. It is an opportunity to learn, reflect, exchange ideas, and plan as one Rhode Island - a small state with a big heart and endless potential.
