Warwick City Council

The Warwick City Council is considering a resolution that would oppose the Rhode Island Assault Weapons Ban Act of 2025.

We know that the gun lobby has turned its focus toward local towns and cities, to encourage them to take these kinds of positions.

We are inviting citizens of Warwick to take the following steps:

  • Email or call your ward representative and tell them that you SUPPORT the Rhode Island Assault Weapons Ban and that you REJECT this proposed city resolution

  • Attend the City Council meeting at Monday, June 2nd, at 5:00 pm — please make sure to arrive early to secure a seat.
